以回歸臺灣音樂之美為主軸，打造出屬於臺灣音樂的動人舞台，鋼琴家李威龍將與音樂學者簡巧珍教授攜手合作，讓觀眾體驗臺灣音樂之經典，並闡揚其音樂傳承之意志。臺灣音樂創作之發展期程雖然僅有80年的歷史，然而其留給後人的音樂遺跡可謂空前絕後。來自留美鋼琴家李威龍教授將與長期精修鑽研於臺灣音樂歷史之音樂學者簡巧珍教授聯手打造出專屬於國人音樂的舞台。為發揚臺灣音樂之精隨，其節目作品年代的安排自日治末期直至近代，含括經典的臺灣鋼琴作品，從名聞遐邇的國人作曲家馬水龍、郭芝苑與蕭泰然，以及家喻戶曉的許常惠、陳泗治與江文也，甚至是到現代樂壇上赫赫有名的陳茂萱先生；許多著名的國人作品將以鋼琴來體現出臺灣音樂之美。

Although the development of Taiwanese musical composition had only been through 80 years, the vestiges o fit self had found its historical significance. Pianist We-Lung Li and Musicologist Chien chao chen who has been consistently dedicating to the history of Taiwanese music will be building particular musical platform for people in Taiwan. In order to advocate the essence of Taiwanese music, the program is specifically designed for music since the Japanese occupation. It includes some of the most leading Taiwanese composers ranging from Ma Shui-Lung, Kuo Chih-yuan and Hsiao Tyzen to Hsu Tsang-Houei, Chen Sizhi, Jiang Wen-Ye and even the renowned Chen Mao-shuen. This recital will feature some of the most prominent Taiwanese composers through piano.
