2019第四屆全球泛華青年劇本創作競賽 - 讀劇藝術節

自2015年開始，「全球泛華青年劇本創作競賽」以全球為徵件範圍、由臺灣搭建平台，向 18歲至36歲的青年劇作家徵求中文及英文舞台劇劇本，意圖召喚全球對泛華文化圈的注視與拓展泛華青年的視野。通過三階段專業評審審閱，評選出前三名優秀劇本。並由主辦單位媒合專業劇場導演及表演團隊，辦理劇作的首次讀劇發表。2019年，「全球泛華青年劇本創作競賽」邁入第四屆，不僅創下開辦以來最多參賽作品的紀錄，參賽者亦遍佈全球各地，劇本創作成為泛華文化圈彼此之間，或與其他文化對話的舞臺。「第四屆全球泛華青年劇本創作競賽頒獎典禮暨讀劇藝術節」將在2019年7月12日至7月14日，於高雄衛武營國家藝術文化中心再次串聯新的舞台想像，一起與觀眾演繹二十一世紀的全球泛華新世界。
The World Sinophone Drama Competition for Young Playwrights is open to young writers (age 18 to 36) worldwide. We accept both Chinese and English scripts. Since 2015, the winning plays have been staged in ten cities around the globe (Taipei, Macau, Vancouver, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Nanjing, Monterrey, New York, Mexico City and Beijing) and published as bi-lingual E-books. It takes time for a river to carve a canyon, so as for a play to be elaborated from a script to an outstanding performance. Accordingly, from this year, we will arrange Dramaturg for the winners, along with a 3-month period of revise before their works’ first debut in July 12-14, 2019, at Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, Taiwan. We are looking forward to building a creativity platform of performance art for the Sinophone communities, and to enriching our imagination of the world stage in the 21th century.
