第十一屆國際藝術節:莫斯科國家交響管弦樂團

藝術是人類精做文化的展現，藝文活動則是充實國人精神生活的主要方式。近年來政府與民間團體舉辦國際文化活動，除了傳統文化內蘊意義的闡揚外，更希望透過文化交流，提供國人觀摩國際文化藝術的機會，也讓外國藝壇人士暸解我國文化發展近況與社會經濟發展的成就。 文建會成立迄今已邁入第十一年，在表演藝術方面一向推動不遺餘力，從策劃舉辦文藝季活動、民間劇場、辦理音樂、種扭創作徵選、獎勵國人創作及演出及各類表演藝術人才的培育，逐漸發展到辦理大型的國際藝文活動，如國際領路季、亞太地區偶戲觀摩展、台北國際合唱節等等，積極改善藝文環境，協助藝文工作者提昇創作與展演水準，進而擴大藝文活動與人口，充實國民精神生活的內涵，把藝術逐漸融入民眾日常生活中，以實現藝術生活化、生活藝術化的目標。 新象活動推展中心成立十五年來，熱心推展藝文工作，不斷邀請世界傑出藝術團體及藝術家來華展演，對提高國人藝術鑑賞水準貢獻良多;這次邀請到「莫斯科國家交響管弦樂團」來華訪演，並特別安排四套俄羅斯作曲家經典曲目，由該團演奏，如此盛大的演出，在國內至為少見，實是難得一見的音樂會。 另外值得一提的是，台中企業界為促進該地區文化活動，大力贊助，並邀請該團到台中表演，這種企業回饋文化的精神，亦值得推崇。 在此莫斯科國家交響管弦樂團來華訪演前夕，謹綴數語，預祝演出圓滿成功! 行政院文建會主任委員 郭為籓

Arts are the jewels of huamn culture and artistic/cultural activities are the main resouces to enrich people's spiritual life. In recent years, both the government and private sectors had hold many international arts events. In addition to passing on the cultural heritage, these activities also aim to increase mutual understanding through cultural exchanges. On the one hand, our people can emulate the good points from others. On the other hand, artists from other regions of the world can learn of our cultural and economic accomplishments. It is the 11th anniversary of the Council for Cultural Planning and Development . The Council dedicated itself to promote performing arts, from organizing cultural and artistic festivals, folklore theatres, the requisition of composition and choreography, encouragement and education of creative and performing activities of local artist to the large-scale international arts events, such as International Dance Festival, Asian and Pacific Puppet Theatre Exhibition, and the International Choral Festival. The CCPD thus endeavored to improve the cultural environment, assist the artists in their creation and performance and hence increase the population of the arts, enrich people's spiritual. life and blend harmoniously the arts with their daily life. And all these had been done with an aim to realize the ideal that the arts should be an integral part of life and that the arts should be rooted in life. Since its inception 15 years ago, New Aspect Promtion Corporation continuously . invited the best artists and groups to perform here. Its contribution in upgrading our coutry poeple's appreciation of the arts has already been recognized. On the invitation of New Aspect, the State Symphonic Kapelle of Moscow will bring four programs featuring the masterpieces of Russian composers. This will be a rare musical event here. Noteworthily, to promote the cultural activities in Taichung, the entrepreneur there provides sponsorship and invites the orchestra to perform there. The feedback from the entrepreneur to culture should be praised and honored. Welcome the State Symphonic Kapelle of Moscow to Taipei and wish them resounding success.
